we Believe 

We believe in the infallible true word of God, the Bible! We believe that the word IS God and that it is right all by itself.  We believe that it should be taught in it's entirety and soundness for the saving and edifying of God's people that we may all be on one accord having "one Lord, one faith, and one baptism" (Ephesians 4:5).

Salvation

We believe Jesus came for a purpose and according to the scripture that purpose is to "save his people from their sins" (Matt. 1:21). The only way to do that is to be BORN AGAIN according to the scripture. "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3). Biblically, being born again consists of two things John 3:5 states, "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God". Being born of the water means to be baptized (whole body fully submerged, not sprinkled) in water in the name of Jesus and born of the spirit means to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (God's Spirit). These instructions are executed in Acts 2:38 specifically, "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." The water baptism is for the forgiveness/washing away (Acts 22:16) of ones sins and the Holy Ghost is to give us power to overcome sin (Acts 1:8).
